This week, the Teapotters are creating cards to cheer up one of our SCS friends who is having health issues. She likes pinks and butterflies, so this is where I headed. I learned how to do the double gatefold not long ago in an SCS challenge. I only have a few pieces of two-sided 12x12 card stock, and I had pulled this one out for the original challenge. Now seemed like a good time to use it. The die-cut white panel and flourish are from my stash, sent to me in various Tickles over the years. For the butterfly, I used some pink distress inks along with a gold pigment ink to color it, then die-cut it and added a few gems.

How wonderful you were able to incorporate other TeaPotter stashes to create this pretty card. Vickie will certainly love and appreciate where your art took you, Sandy!!!

Your beautiful pink butterfly looks so lovely against that green flourish, and the pink floral paper pairs nicely with the green polka dots. Lovely double gatefold card!

That is great double-sided paper, I love the contrast between the green and hot pink. I too struggle to find double-sided papers sometimes - but you can always stamp one side yourself! What a dainty butterfly die - and lovely flourish for it to perch on.
